I was inspired by the Clooney and Haslov movie titled “The Monuments Men” and the events in Italy during World War II. In the movie, Claire Simone is the fictitious name for Rose Antonia Maria Valland who was instrumental in the recovery of the artworks stolen by the Nazis.

Rita Levi Montalcini was an Italian Nobel laureate and instrumental in the liberation of Italy from the Mussolini’s grip.
